EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION II
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Early Childhood Education I
This course will allow highly motivated students to develop leadership skills and responsibilities at the Early Childhood and Elementary Education level. Students under the supervision of a certified staff member will create and present lessons, keep journals, complete timecards, and write in daily job-logs. Students will focus more on the lead teacher/director responsibilities and duties. This course is recommended for those students considering a career in childcare, early childhood education or elementary education.
All applicants must go through a screening process with the early childhood instructor before being accepted into the program. Some use of personal transportation will be needed dependent upon placement.
