![]() The GAVC Early Childhood Education I class, have been learning about how to guide science experiences with children. Students then developed science lessons to teach to the children at their job-sites. Jeaniece Kimbrough, GHS Junior, taught a lesson about the responsibility of caring for a hamster. The preschool children really enjoyed learning about the hamster, her cage, exercise wheel, exercise ball, food and bedding. Cierra Hambsch, GHS Senior, taught a lesson on “The Candy Heart Experiment”, which the students made predictions, observed, compared and wrote conclusions about what happened to the candy hearts when they were placed in different liquids. Both girls were “Naturals” in front of the children.
Culinary students are all smiles when they receive job opportunities while completing their internship!
