Manufacturing Showcase

10/18/2018

Please join us Tuesday, October 30, for our third annual Manufacturing Showcase  from 10-12 at Galesburg High School or from 1:00-2:30 at Knoxville High School.  This event is aimed at generating interest in a manufacturing career pathway with the potential opportunity for employment.

The showcase will be set up like a modern trade show, with each company hosting a booth and displaying technology and products.  Students will have a chance to see the latest technology of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR).  In addition, the manufacturing students will demonstrate the CNC vertical machine as well as the new plasma table and CNC simulators at the  GAVC/GHS location.

With the renewed focus on vocational education, our goal is to provide first-class education and training on industry-leading hardware to high school students in our region.  Consider joining us to experience the education of tomorrow with a focus on hands-on collaboration.
