The GAVC Child Care and Guidance classes have gotten off to a great start this year. All of the students are very eager to get into the pre-school classrooms at Bright Futures to get hands-on experience working with children. We have studied the increasing need for child care personnel and the characteristics of becoming a successful teacher. We have also studied the types of Early Childhood Programs and why observing the children is so important. The students take the knowledge that they have learned from our classroom and apply it when they go to Bright Futures for lab. We are looking forward to a great year!
