The end of the year is winding down and so are clinicals. We only have two and half weeks left at Seminary Manor. Most of the students have completed and passed all but 2 of the state mandated skills. They are now busy at Seminary Manor performing many skills as CNA’s. They have learned to perform many tasks and functions as CNAs in the workplace. It’s been very exciting watching them grow as professionals in the health care field. Several of the students have applied at Seminary Manor to work as “Resident Assistants”. Once they complete and pass the State of Illinois CNA competency exam, they will be employed as Certified Nursing Assistants. The students are very excited and are becoming very comfortable working in the skilled nursing facility.
