This year we are particularly proud of this student for his active involvement in three of our Galesburg Area Vocational programs, Building Trades, Auto I, and Engineering Design. He is a student who has shown strong academic promise; he is dependable and demonstrates a strong work ethic in the classroom and lab settings. He displays a positive attitude and is a valuable team member in small work group.
This year’s Galesburg Area Vocational Center Student of the Year Award goes to Shelton Adcock of Galesburg High School. Shelton plans on pursuing his education at Carl Sandburg College with a degree in engineering. Along with a plaque Shelton received a Target $100.00 gift card.
