Abingdon-Avon senior Dylan Klockenga has been chosen as our April CTE Student of the Month. Dylan is enrolled in the dual credit CNC program and Dylan was described as respectful, honest and hardworking. Dylan is the first to explore equipment and eager to learn new machinery when in the lab. Dylan plans to continue in the CNC field after high school and attend ICC. Congratulation Dylan!
GHS senior, Samera Lesher has been chosen as our March CTE Student of the Month. Samera is enrolled in Early Childhood Education and was described as always being a team player and going above and beyond in the classroom. Samera future plans include attending Carl Sandburg College and Monmouth College to majoring in elementary education.
The Galesburg Area Vocational Center is pleased to announce senior, Megan Lingafelter of Galesburg High School has been chosen as our February student of the month. Megan is enrolled in the Engineering Design program and was described as being a true asset to the class. Not only does Megan have excellent attendance, one of her strength is that she is a quick learner and has the ability to problem solve for a successful outcome. Megan future plans include attending a four year university and studying to become a Civil Engineer.
United High School senior Kenny Bergern, has been selected as our January CTE Student of the Month. Kenny was described as an exceptional student that is respectful, honest and a classroom leader. Kenny arrives well prepared for class and always strives to do his best. Kenny future plans includes attending Monmouth College and Western Illinois University to major in Law Enforcement Justice Administration.

Halle is enrolled in the Health Occupation program and has proven to be a leader not only in the classroom but in the clinical setting as well. Congratulation Halle!
Galesburg High School senior Taylor Hosten has been selected as our November CTE student of the month. Taylor is enrolled in the Law Enforcement program and was nominated by Law Enforcement instructor Mr. Nichols. Taylor was chosen for her positive attitude, and her professionalism she displays in the classroom. In addition to Taylors success in the Law Enforcement program, she participates in Interact, Tennis and Stage crew. Taylors future plans include attending Carl Sandburg College then a four year university and become a crime scene investigator.

Rachael future plans include attending a four year college and pursue a degree in nursing.
